As South Africans work together to curb the spread of Covid-19 (the new coronavirus), our team at Maropeng has also put measures in place to protect our visitors.
Here’s what’s in place for your peace of mind:
- We’ve ensured that there is ample hand sanitiser available to our visitors at points all along our exhibition
- Our interactive exhibits are being sanitised regularly
- In line with government guidelines, we are limiting the size of groups touring our world-class exhibition
- We’re closing the Tumulus Restaurant from 14 March to 18 April 2020.
It’s also worth noting that Maropeng is located in the pristine Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, a fair distance away from busy, densely populated centres, offering a day out in the fresh air, in a natural setting.
