Maropeng to take part in Meetings Africa
Meetings Africa and Maropeng celebrate a decade this year, and for Maropeng, celebrations continue.
Maropeng’s acting general manager and marketing manager Lindsay Marshall accepted an award at an Honorary Exhibitors’ Guild dinner hosted by the South Africa National Convention Bureau (SANCB). The awards honour institutions that have exhibited at Meetings Africa since its launch in 2005.
Keen on learning what Maropeng has to offer you in terms of group conferencing, excursions or even a romantic getaway? Then head to the 10th Meetings Africa event at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg from today (23 February) to 25 February 2015.
Says Marshall on the importance of Maropeng taking part in Meetings Africa, the largest pan-African business event trade show: “It is the premier MICE (meetings, incentives, conferencing and events) show and a property cannot afford not to be there.”
As well as being an ideal meetings and conferencing venue, Maropeng also offers visitors the convenience of a luxury boutique hotel and a passionate events team, Marshall adds.
Maropeng is also a proud recipient of numerous awards such as the national Lilizela Tourism Awards, which recognised Maropeng as the country’s top tourism and business destination, TripAdvisor's Bravo Badge and Certificate of Excellence, and a gold certificate of membership from the Heritage Environmental Management Company as proof of the centre's commitment to sustainable business practices.
