Hosted at Bekker Schools from 09h00 to 17h00 on September 24, the festival will show the best that Magaliesburg has to offer.

The Johannesburg Youth Orchestra will provide light entertainment while you browse through the organic Green Kitchen Market. If you require some relaxation, Just Haven and Mount Grace will be providing outdoor spa treatments. And the Maropeng stand will indulge you further with chocolate and Champagne.

Staff members of Maropeng and the Cradle of Humankind Management Authority will be on hand to answer all your questions.

Erica Saunders, marketing manager of Maropeng, can’t wait for the festival this year. “We had such great fun last year; it was lovely being out in the country. It was an amazing experience to talk to the community, as they were so eager to learn more about Maropeng,” she says.

Tickets are R100.00 for general entrance for adults, and children under 12 enter free.

The festival is a community lead event, initiated by the members of the Magalies Meander and aimed specifically at providing opportunities and skills development to the community. To achieve this, the festival employs and trains local people wherever possible. To read more about the festival, please click on this link.
