A massive storm swept across Gauteng on Monday 9 October 2017. The West Rand, including the Cradle of Humankind, was particularly hard hit. The worst affected was the Orient Hills informal settlement just 10 minutes from Maropeng, where some 200 homes were destroyed by the storm.

We’ve set up a collection point at Maropeng to collect goods to help this community rebuild their lives.
