Maropeng wins TripExpert award

The Maropeng Visitor Centre has been announced as a winner of a coveted TripExpert.com Experts’ Choice award, based on reviews by journalists and travel writers from around the world.

“With positive reviews by reviewers such as Fodor’s and Afar magazine, Maropeng Visitor Centre is featured on TripExpert.com as one of the best attractions in Johannesburg. TripExpert’s pioneering rating approach takes into account professional reviews from travel guides, magazines, newspapers and other respected sources,” TripExpert said in a statement.

“We are honoured that Maropeng has been recognised by professionals in the travel-writing sphere,” said Michael Worsnip, Maropeng’s managing director. “Knowing that we are recognised by those who have a wealth of knowledge about other attractions is something to be proud of,” he added.

TripExpert says the award is an exclusive one, granted to less than 2% of attractions worldwide.
