Palaeontology legends Philip Tobias and Bob Brain to speak at Broom Colloquium

Maropeng is thrilled to announce that legendary experts in the field of palaeontology, Professors Philip Tobias and Bob Brain, will speak at the upcoming Broom Colloquium.
Hosted by the Royal Society of South Africa at Maropeng on November 26, the upcoming Broom Colloquium will feature presentations from a range of top palaeontologists from across the world.
Tobias and Brain both worked with Professor Robert Broom on fossils discovered in the Cradle of Humankind and are therefore poised to provide personal anecdotes and insight of what Broom was like to work with.
Tobias will give the keynote address titled, Robert Broom’s role in South Africa’s contribution to hominin evolution in the 20th century, and Brain will do the closing comments.

The cost of the event is R300 and includes tea and lunch as well as access to all the presentations.
