Maropeng Swartkrans Competition
October 11, 2011
The Swartkrans walking tour and picnic is for adults only
The Maropeng Visitor Centre is running a weekly competition where you can win a fantastic prize that will let you experience the beauty and wonder of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site.
This week you can win tickets for two to join the Swartkrans walking tour and picnic. The picnic and walking tours, which take place once a month, are not just about enjoying food and drink at this intriguing fossil site, where fossils of our hominid ancestor Paranthropus robustus have been found. They are also an opportunity to explore the Cradle of Humankind and learn the earliest evidence of human existence.
Booking is essential and subject to availability. Make sure you get in before the final tour, which takes place in November!
All you need to do is to “like” the Maropeng Facebook page and post a message on our wall. Tell us the name of the hominid’s fossils which have been discovered at Swartkrans.
The Maropeng Visitor Centre is an award-winning tourist attraction, which is conveniently located an hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Visit Maropeng to learn more about the origins of humankind.
