May 17, 2011
Visit Maropeng this May to learn more about the origins of humankind
The Maropeng Visitor Centre is running a weekly competition where you can win a fantastic prize that will let you experience the tranquility of the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site.
This week you can win a special evening gazing at the stars with Maropeng astronomer Vincent Nettmann. The prize includes two tickets for the popular stargazing evening that includes a delicious dinner and an illustrated talk on the infinite galaxies of our wondrous night skies.
All you need to do is to “like” the Maropeng Facebook page and post a message on our wall.
Tell us the name of Maropeng’s resident astronomer who will be taking visitors on a laser-guided tour of the night sky.
The Maropeng Visitor Centre is an award-winning tourist attraction, which is conveniently located an hour from Johannesburg and Pretoria.
