Fun learning at Hominid House in 2011 – photo essay
January 14, 2011
January 2011 marks the beginning of the academic year for South African schools. What better way to get learners fired up about history, heritage and the origins of humankind than to visit Maropeng?
Teachers and learners will never forget their first visit to the Cradle of Humankind and its two visitor centres – the main one packed with exciting, interactive exhibits, and a smaller one, the gateway to the Sterkfontein Caves and their secrets about our past.
Why not make the most of your visit to the Cradle of Humankind and book a school tour for a few nights? We offer group accommodation for up to 120 learners or adults, with separate rooms for teachers or leaders, in Hominid House.
