Conferencing and events

The Maropeng Visitor Centre offers a range of options for anyone looking to host a conference or a special event.

Our conference centre caters to groups of between 40 and 500 people, offering a variety of set-ups, equipment and catering options. Maropeng is also available as a venue for special events such as launches, team-bulidings etc. for companies, and private functions for individuals and groups - all within an hour's drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria.

All catering is done on-site by our specialist hospitality team, and your event can be combined with a number of exciting and interesting activitites at Maropeng and the Sterkfontein Caves.

Overnight accommodation is available for up to 48 guests at the Maropeng Hotel.
